Potato Head Desperately Seeks Duct Tape!

Last night I dreamt I was a Potato Head.  Not gonna lie, it freaked me out a little bit... especially since I was desperately looking for duct tape and NO ONE would help me! I woke up mad at Hubby because he was one of the people in my dream who ignored my Potato-y pleas for help. This has happened to him before... I don't mean to do it, but poor Hubby is not unfamiliar with the rudeness of me waking up mad at him for something he didn't actually do! The truth is, I am certain he WOULD give me duct tape if I needed it, even if I was a Potato Head.  (Sorry, sweetheart.. you know how irrational my dreams can make me at times.)

Do you ever have extra-weird dreams when you're sick? Do you wake up mad at people who didn't actually do anything wrong? I can't be the only wacko that goes through this!

FYI- Moab Day 5 is written, I just have to add the pictures tomorrow and I will have it posted by the evening. Thanks for being so patient!

What kind of therapist would stand a chance of  helping me figure out what this dream could possibly mean?!

Back Away From The Jet Plane, You're Not Leaving

Last night I had a very realistic dream that I was heading to Massachusetts with my mom and older brother, Roger. We were at the airport when I realized I did not bring my wallet with me and hence had no ID so I could not get on the plane.

Hubby said I was whimpering intensely in my sleep.

In my dream, I had to go home to get my identification and rush back to the airport in hopes of getting on a later flight. When I got there, I was told there was a purchased ticket waiting for me. (apparently someone traveling with my mom had already paid for my ticket but it was a dude I did not know) I was excited about the ticket because I was told that all the flights to Massachusetts were sold out for the next 6 months. What a lucky break for me!

I got all checked in and headed to the gate, excited to be on my way! When it was time to board the plane, I couldn't find my ticket anywhere. I dumped out everything searching for it and I remember thinking that I had way too much trash in my purse/wallet/ whatever it was that I was searching. I begged the gate agents to print me another ticket but they wouldn't because that other dude was the one who actually purchased the ticket, not me.. therefore, they told me that I had no real claim to it.

I was not allowed to get on the plane.  :(

Forgotten identification, missing ticket = no trip to Massachusetts.  No wonder I was whimpering in my sleep!

This Lil Guy..

When I'm troubled, or sad... or sometimes when I just have a little time to daydream......

I think of this guy:
 Product Image

And wish I could afford to buy him from this oh so charming store that I happened to walk by on a beautiful October day in Concord, Massachusetts:

Because sometimes it's nice to get away from the stress of the real world,
and imagine how it must feel to touch his regal plume.
Or his smooth, shiny back.

I think his antique wheels must squeak a tiny bit
as they are gently rolled across a smooth coffee table
where he would undoubtedly spend his days
perched in proud splendor.
Then I imagine that he is much larger than any table,
because the entire world dangles from his beak.

We are all just tiny people,
hitching a ride
from a Bird on Wheels.

Babehs "My daughters are so many things- Tiny discoverers of butterfly wings, huggers of teddies, sweet sleepyheads, little ones to dream for in bright years ahead... All Special people who right from the start had a place in our family and of course in my heart. And just when I think that I've learned all the things that my dear daughters are and the joy each one brings, a hug or a grin comes with such sweet surprise that love finds me smiling with tears in my eyes!"
